Exciting Green News!
This year we won the Grenada Chamber of Commerce Environmental Excellence Award. This is the third time and the second consecutive year that our family run resort won this prestigious award. We are proudly Green Globe certified and a Green Leader Boutique Resort.

2017 also marks the 5th consecutive year of us being Green Globe certified–we are are now also a Gold Member! Green Globe Gold Membership means that not only has our boutique resort consistently met the base Green Globe requirements in the sustainable management, social/economic, cultural heritage and environment categories but we have also consistently been between 70 % and 80 % green throughout our time of being Green Globe certified. We are truly passionate about conserving the environment!
Lead by the True Blue Green Team our staff, management and guests work together to: consume less harmful fossil fuel produced electricity, we recycle grey water to irrigate our gardens and recycle over half our our waste. Eight percent of our operations are fueled with solar energy! This year we constructed our first off grid office powered exclusively by solar energy. Since starting operations in 1998 we have strictly banned all styrofoam on site. Read more about all our green efforts and how you can get involved over on our website.

However, it is not the goal of our green efforts to win awards- it’s only a boost that lets us know we are on the right track. Taking care of the environment is a passion of the True Blue team and we are so happy that the GCIC recognises this effort, and, we hope it encourages other businesses to challenge us for 2018 (but we are gunning for a 3 years consecutive trot)”.
